The deputy minister of information, Vincent Sowah Odotei
has been axed from office by the president. His place will be taken by
non other than Alex Kojo Mom Abban.
This was announced in a release issued by the Jubilee House on April 6, 2020 and signed by Eugene Arhin, Director of Communications at the Presidency.
Member of Parliament for Gomoa West in the Central Region and currently
deputy Minister for Health, Alexander Abban, is now deputy minister for
communications according to the release.
No reasons were stated for the removal of the former deputy minister.
The release also said Dr. Bernard Okoe-Boye, Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku, is now Deputy Minister-designate for Health.The president is expecting Parliament to expediate the vetting of the Deputy Minister-designate for health so he could assume office as soon as possible.
